Knowing when to stop

You know when you really want to get something done and you're going great and then all of a sudden things start happening to tell you.....that's enough fun, time to do something else!
Well that's been the case with me today. I was having soo much fun working on a Little Ladies Tea Dress when the signs were coming thick and fast that it's time to step away from the sewing machine and have a break! Here are my signs.....

To start off you have to replace your overlocker thread that you didn't want to do yesterday,

Your needle breaks,
Your stitching starts to go loopy (you will too soon)
Your lace, ric rac and kids are having a party and didn't invite you

Yep definately time to stop and wait till the house is asleep tonight.
For the record my stitching got back on track, turns out I put my new needle in back to front....as I said definately time to stop.

  1. I have done that with my needle, it is so annoying, glad you fixed it!
